A father searches for his 18-year-old daughter, who has disappeared without warning. It had never occurred to the father that his daughter might run away. Searching for her, he enters for the first time a world unknown to him, a world he did not even know existed… A film with subtle humour that nevertheless asks very seriously how well parents really know their children.
With a panel discussion with Tea Lukač after the film.

Is it morally justifiable to torture someone who may be innocent in order to prevent a mass murder? How far may one go to save the lives of innocent people? The film deals with the inner conflict of a German Wehrmacht officer in Serbia in 1941.

Dalton is an intelligent but naive 17-year-old. Pace (18) is a fun-loving young woman with a passion for trains. She has talked him into coming to the bridge to go “train chasing” with her – a dare in which they run towards the approaching train, hoping to reach the other side before it does. While Dalton holds on to a faint hope of going to college or at least leaving their small town, Pace convinces him that this hope is unrealistic.
